30 day trial: Offer ends 30 October 2008. Optus, at its discretion, may give you the option to evaluate the Service, including up to five BlackBerry smartphones, for a period of 30 days during which you may cancel the Service without paying cancellation fees. You must pay all data usage charges, return the hardware in original condition in its original packaging within ten days of notifying Optus in writing that you do not wish to continue with BlackBerry from Optus. The Evaluation period is limited to 30 days commencing on the day you sign the application. It is your responsibility to install and evaluate the service sufficiently during this period and to contact Optus support should any technical difficulties be encountered.

Handset discount: Offer ends 30 October 2008. The $150 discount off each handset will only be applied if the Blackberry Bold handset is activated on a 24 month wireless email rate plan from Optus Business.

Additional discount for 50+ BlackBerry Bold services: Offer ends 30 October 2008. To take advantage of this offer all BlackBerry smartphones must be activated on a 24 month Optus BlackBerry Email Plan. If your Optus BlackBerry service is cancelled in the first 12 months you pay a fixed termination fee of $231 and then a pro rata reduction of that amount as follows: Months 13-15, 80% of the termination fee, months 16-18, 60% of the termination fee, months 19-21, 40% of the termination fee, for months 22-24, 20% of the termination fee. Monthly email fee includes unlimited email usage and Internet Browsing using BlackBerry browser. Does not include using device as a tethered modem or international roaming. Mobile voice plans, SMS plans, MMS and other data plans are offered separately. 'yes' Time or other free or special call rate offers do not apply to the BlackBerry from Optus Service.
